Founders Sally Gilliam & Darla Glass and developer webmaster Rod Minarik June 2005.
Both ladies after working with another rescue group had a vision that a second rescue can exist in our local area, each with different views. Since then, due to personal and health reasons, Sally Gilliam has resigned as president and particapting in ABFR rescue.

Rod, the origin webmaster for Exotic Bird Rescue, his style and appearance stands today was asked by both founders to do the same for Always Birds First Rescue. As the name suggest, its for the birds, and the groups ability to expose their rescue services to our community. Last, it's not about people personality problems that seems to destroy good things. 

We - Always Birds First Rescue, we are the voice and guardians due to man’ s mistakes by removing these beautiful creatures from their natural habitat.
